Commercial dance is a style seen in pop culture and on TV and film but is strongly rooted from Street and Hip-Hop dance which evolved in open air spaces such as parks, streets and nightclubs. It also encompasses styles including popping, locking, breaking and house. A large part of it is very improvisational and is very social in its nature, allowing for dancers to freely create their own style of movement that feels most comfortable for them.

Using both modern chart tracks as well as 90’s and 00’s tunes, we will teach the most up to date styles and moves in a challenging and fast paced way, along with developing their stamina, rhythm, commercial technique and co-ordination.
